Now, you may be wondering about the distinction between commencement and graduation. Graduation signifies that you have successfully met all the requirements to earn your degree. On the other hand, commencement is the ceremony we hold to commemorate and honor the accomplishments of our graduating students.

All participants must wear a cap and gown to participate in the ceremony. You can purchase caps, gowns and other academic regalia from the S&T Store.
Your diploma and a final copy of your transcript will be mailed within eight weeks following commencement. Diplomas are mailed to the address you provided on your graduation application.
Missouri S&T offers a few bachelor's degree programs in cooperation with Missouri State University. The degree is awarded by Missouri S&T in cooperation with that university.
Are you graduating soon with loans? You will need to complete your exit counseling session upon graduation.
