MyDegree automatically generates a report reflecting a student's academic progress toward the completion of a degree. A student may request a degree audit for their major.
In addition, a student may request "What If" reports for other majors they may be considering. The report automatically places the student's Missouri S&T course work, transfer courses and courses in progress within a series of requirements and sub-requirements for a specific degree program.
A degree audit is not a confirmation of requirement or degree completion. Students must meet with his/her academic advisor to confirm progress toward earning the degree.
Missouri S&T is adopting a new degree planning tool that helps students and advisors create and update individual academic plans as a student progresses toward their degrees. The new tool, called Stellic, supports on-time graduation by helping students choose courses based on interests, prerequisites, degree requirements and more – across multiple semesters.
Stellic automatically generates a degree audit to give students a complete understanding of where they stand on the path to graduation. A student can also request a ‘what it’ audit for other majors they may be considering. The report automatically places the student’s Missouri S&T course work, transfer courses and courses in progress within a series of requirements for a specific degree program.
Students have the ability to create a plan, that lets the student choose, chart, and change the courses they plan to take within a single workspace.
A degree audit is not a confirmation of requirements or degree completion. Students must meet with their academic advisor to confirm progress toward earning a degree.
Stellic is currently only available to undergraduate students in the College of Engineering who started at S&T in August 2025. Stellic will be available to other students at a later date.
