How to Request a Transcript

Transcripts can be requested in-person (103 Parker Hall), by mail, or by fax. Your signature is required for release and all financial holds must be cleared on your student account before your request can be processed. There is a $10.00 fee per copy charge.

Current students can also request official transcripts through Joe’SS ( Transcript requests submitted on-line will be processed within two working days or can be held for final grades or degree and can be paid for using credit card or electronic check.

Transcripts issued directly to students will have the notation, ISSUED TO STUDENT, stamped on the transcript. Transcripts mailed to universities and businesses will not be stamped in this manner. Accrediting boards, businesses, and universities normally do not accept a transcript as "official" unless it is mailed directly to them.

Electronic transcripts requested to be sent to a certain email address will be in a PDF format.

Requests should include the following information:

  • Full name (and former name used while attending Missouri S&T, if different)
  • Missouri S&T student number (or Social Security number)
  • Date of birth
  • Approximate last term of enrollment
  • Number of transcripts
  • Full address where the transcript is to be mailed

Requests can be faxed to:


(Faxed transcript requests must be paid by charging the transcript fee to your Visa, MasterCard, or Discover credit card. Please call our office at 573-341-4181 to submit this payment over the phone.)

Transcripts can be faxed to a destination supplied by you. Please provide the name and fax number of the business or university. There is an additional $5.00 fee for domestic fax or $15.00 fee for international fax.

If you are currently enrolled, you can specify the transcript be held until the final semester grades or degrees are posted.

Transcripts are confidential and must be ordered by the student whose record is being requested.
