Missouri S&T will honor graduating students while following COVID-19 safety guidelines during three commencement ceremonies scheduled for Dec. 17-18 in the Gale Bullman Building.

Commencement ceremonies will be held at the following times:
• 6:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 17, for all Ph.D. graduates
• 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 18, for bachelor’s and master’s degree graduates in specific disciplines (see below)
• 3:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 18, for bachelor’s and master’s degree graduates in specific disciplines (see below).

Each event will be livestreamed via Missouri S&T’s Facebook page.

Guidelines for all ceremonies
The S&T Commencement Committee and COVID-19 Incident Command Team are working diligently to plan safe and memorable ceremonies to honor graduates. To comply with COVID-19 guidelines, attendance will be limited to four guests per graduate, and facial coverings will be encouraged at every ceremony. To help keep our graduates safe, direct contact (such as handshaking) is discouraged.

ADA accommodations
Guests with sight, hearing or mobility impairments may request ADA accommodations by calling 573-341-4045 or emailing equity@mst.edu.

Entrances
• Graduates should arrive at least one hour before their ceremony begins and enter on the west side of the building.
• Guests, please use the building’s entrance on Tenth Street. Doors will open 90 minutes before each ceremony.
• All individuals requiring ADA assistance may enter on the building’s south side by the Student Recreation Center.
Directional signs will be posted.

6:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 17

Graduates should arrive by 5:30 p.m.

This special ceremony is held for all S&T Ph.D. graduates, who will receive their academic hoods and be introduced for the first time with their “Dr.” title, recognizing them as experts in their fields.

10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 18

Graduates should arrive by 9 a.m.
