Guests should arrive at least 30 minutes before the start of the ceremony and be seated 15 minutes before the ceremony begins.
Late arrivals will be asked to wait until the academic procession is finished (approximately 15 minutes) before they are seated.
Accessible guest seating is available on a first-come basis.
No saving of seats is allowed as a courtesy.
Guests are not permitted in the graduate seating area.
Guests are to remain seated during the entire ceremony.
No strollers, car seats, or baby carriers of any kind will be allowed in the seating area.
Balloons are not permitted in the seating area.
Air horns and noisemakers are not permitted at any time during the ceremony.
Taking pictures and videotaping is allowed, but tripods and monopods are not permitted. Cameras must be battery operated and patrons must remain seated while taking photographs and videotaping. No outlside professional photographers allowed.
No one is allowed on the platform unless designated, especially after the ceremony.
Once the allowed number of seating capacity is met by fire code safety, all guests will be directed to the overflow section downstairs with a live video stream. All guests are required to be seated. No exceptions made.
